Discussion > President-New Jersey Volunteer Fire Chiefs

Lets place the blame where it should be placed and that is not with Captain Bosco. The senior officers should be responsible and should be stepping up instead of placing the blame on others. Let there be a full investigation and have the truth come out. Afterwards we will see where the blame should be placed.
Captain Bosco, stay the course brother and don't give up.

First of all, the job is actually ran by the Chief of Dept, not the Commissioner. The Commissioner knows nothing of the actual job (Firefighting procedures, Fire Prevention, Building Inspection, etc.) The Commissioner is just a figurehead that reports to the Mayor. Why have we not heard from the Chief of Dept? Is he being told not to say anything by the Mayor's Office? How can he not know of the hazards of that building and the lack of a viable fire plan.
Also, if it is true that former Battalion Chief Siegal is a Deputy Assistant Chief now, then that would make him the 1st. Division Commanders boss. Why did he not find out why his plan was not implemented? and wouldn't that make him more responsible than the Division for allowing the plan to just sit?
