Personal decontamination enclosure system: An area designated for controlled passage of all persons, consisting of a clean room, a shower room, and an equipment room, in series, separated from each other and from the work area by airlocks. PPEs: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Disposable work suits or coveralls, head covering, eye protection, footwear, gloves and appropriate NIOSH-approved respirators with appropriate NIOSH-approved filters. See NYS Industrial Code 56-2.1(co) in Industrial Code Rule 56 Effective March 21, 2007.
