If the FDNY Commisioner were in charge of ...
Commissioner Scoppetta's attempt to scapegoat Captain Bosco is akin to
- If he was in charge of NASA would he blame the astronauts for failing to reach the moon when he did not provide them with a rocket ship?
- If he was in charge of a restaurant would be blame the cooks for failing to prepare a meal when he did not give them the ingredients?
- If he was in charge of a car repair shop would he blame the mechanics for failing to fix the cars when he did not give them the tools?
- If he was in charge of NUMA would he blame the scuba divers for failing to dive to the bottom of the ocean when he did not provide them with SCUBA gear?
- If he was in charge of our militarty would he blame our soldiers for failing to put up a fight against a well armed enemy when he provides them neither weapons, training, and ammunition?
