The only reason Scoppetta sidelined the three fire officers is the fifteen day rule (click here).  There is nothing else.  Without the 15 day rule, Scoppetta has nothing.  If the 15 day rule was inapplicable, those "sidelined" would be exonerated.

 Into FreePetey's possession has come a document that is further and definitive evidence that the fifteen day rule (click here) did not contemplate toxic buildings and was not applicable to them. (Once again FreePetey is indebted to Deep Throat for his assistance)

However, before FreePetey posts it, FreePetey want to talk a little about the uniformed leadership of FDNY and give them the opportunity to speak up against the scapegoating that is being done to these three fire officers (Click here to listen to a former fire commissioner speak out). For up to now, the cowardice of the uniformed leadership of FDNY has been disgusting.  FDNY was excluded from the deconstruction - decontamination of the Deutsche Bank Building (Click Here) and then (Click Here).  FDNY wasn't a regulator. There were 9 other regulators.  FDNY was not invited to the table. By design, FDNY was excluded from 130 Liberty St. Moreover, you all know that the fifteen day rule did not contemplate and is not applicable to toxic buildings.  Yet, you are so cowardly that you stand by and say nothing as your feckless leader at the request of an image conscious mayor throws three fine fire officers to the wolves. Are you not ashamed of yourselves?  What kind of leaders of men are you?  Scoppetta's a bureaucrat; he is not a firefighter.  You are the leaders of New York's Bravest. New York's Bravest? You aren't worthy of your motto. FreePetey looks upon the ranks of the leadership of FDNY and is disappointed that there is so little diversity amongst you.  If only you had a woman amongst you.  She would have bigger balls than all of you combined. It is ungodly and un-American for you to stand by in silence and watch this miscarriage of justice. It is time for you to gird up your loins and speak out. Show your manhood. Speak out against this travesty.
