Time is running out, Mayor Mike
Time is running out Mr. Mayor.
You will be judged on whether you redress the injustice done to three fine fire officers
You will be judged on the timeliness of your actions.
You will be judged on whether and when you return these three fine fire officers to active duty.
That is all these three fine fire officers want Mayor Mike: to be considered innocent until proven guilty and to be put back to useful work. You have enough evidence now to see that they have done nothing wrong.
Mr Scoppetta won't stick up for his firefighters. Coach Scoppetta has "sidelined" them. Will you stick up for the firefighters, Mayor Mike?
How you handle this local matter will tell all of America whether you can be trusted to handle national matters.
The big question is this
Is Mr. Bloomberg a big enough man
to admit a mistake has been made or
is he just another small minded politician?
FreePetey.com's source within the hierarchy of FDNY, whom we have dubbed, Deep Throat, for obvious reasons, has promised us a document by Thursday that will conclusively demonstrate that the upper echelons of FDNY had actual knowledge that jurisdiction over the Deutsche Bank building was not, I repeat, not allocated to FDNY but to another city agency.
If Mr. Scoppetta knew that jurisdiction over the Deutsche Bank Building was allocated to another city agency and not FDNY and the responsibility to inspect belonged to another city agency not FDNY, the magnitude of the injustice done to these three fine fire officers by Mr. Scoppetta's decision to "sideline" them will become shockingly apparent. If Mr. Scoppetta did not know, does he deserve to be the Commissioner of FDNY?
Today, too, we mourn all those killed on 9/11/2001 and all those made ill and killed by the toxic aftermath of 9/11.
